(Artikel in englisch)

Erpro & Sprint distribute the HP DesignJet 3D and Monsieur Noisette demonstrates detailed knowledge regarding the printers and the 3D printing technology. The 3D printers are particularly valuable for engineering companies doing CAD development for customers.

The office printers allow engineers to fill the printer queue with the CAD model before leaving the office and have a 3D part prototype when they return in the morning. Where as engineers used to print 2D or 3D design drawings in the office, now they can print the part.

The DesignJet 3D printer uses a layer-by-layer printing process that fuses an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic onto a support one layer at a time.
